Meilleur Ami, which means “my best friend” in French, is an accessories collection that launched in November 2008 and intended to be just that. Founder Fabien Larchez believes that accessories can easily become not only a wardrobe staple, but literally your best friend. With that philosophy in mind, he created a collection of bags that serve both men and women, and could very well be the only bag you’ll need for life.
Larchez is a fashion industry veteran, and after 20 years in the business decided to launch Meilleur Ami. Made in the Picardie region of France by a textile factory that supplies to the French army, the result is a study in unwavering style and function.
Larchez only uses the highest quality leather and emphasizes the treatments used: tannages based bark and natural dyes. The techniques are traditional and authentic, and according to Larchez, each model is designed with love.
