CELEBRATING CHROME HEARTS AT HIRSHLEIFER’S

(NEW YORK) Chrome Hearts is steaming ahead with its expansion. The luxury accessories company just opened its 10th store in Honolulu, Hawaii, at 2184 Kalakaua Avenue (Taipei and Kowloon, Hong Kong are next), and, closer to home, fêted its newly expanded shop-within-a-shop at Hirshleifer’s on Thursday, with a party benefiting Project A.L.S. Harley Davidson motorcycles adorned the family-run store at the Americana Manhasset, while Dave Annable from ABC’s Brothers and Sisters, Fred Wilpon, and Nancy Jarecki were among the special guests. Lori Hirschleifer, who treated her top clients to a VIP dinner in the store’s Valentino boutique following cocktails, had no qualms about pairing all her silver Chrome Hearts pieces with her Loree Rodkin jewelry and gold Bulgari watch. Jarecki, meanwhile, had her table in stitches discussing Betty Beauty, her line of pubic hair dyes—which were also being sold that night to benefit Project A.L.S. “Do you have a leopard print or zebra Betty?” joked one guest, after noticing that the pink version had sold out. “Not yet,” she laughed back, “but Betty just made it into Wikipedia!”
