Seeing Red

Red is the color of the month, and for many reasons.
Not only is red the primary color associated with Valentine’s Day, it is also a significant color of the traditional Lunar New Year, signifying good luck. This ancient Asian holiday is also known as Spring Festival, and marks the coming of a time to clear out the old, and make way for the new.
The importance of the holiday is widely felt with traditional decorations that celebrate themes of happiness, wealth and longevity.
And with such exciting ways to usher in the season (whether it be with a holiday dedicated to love and romance, or one that highlights happiness), what better way to do so than with a bright pop of color?
From a pair of sexy Jimmy Choo pumps to a fabulous Chanel jacket to a bright red dress from J. Mendel to the perfect red clutch from Alexander McQueen, red is the color of the season, and is a strong statement for spring.
